dc.description |
Photo of five cyclists in the 5-mile cycle race on Sports Day of 21 October, the fifth cyclist barely visible behind the centre cyclist. The cyclist second from the right (white dress shirt, sleeves rolled up) is 1st Year Arts student Harry Durney, who placed in the 1- and 3-mile cycle races (and the mile walk!) but not this race (see pg. 120 of the 1922 Santamarian yearbook). Other cyclists are Bill Downie and Harry Smith. This photo is found on pg. 121 of the 1922 Santamarian yearbook. |
